Mountain Dog Adventure Club was born from a lifelong dream and a love for adventure. Alex has always wanted a dog and Ana grew up with lots of pets. In 2022, while stationed in Okinawa, Japan, their dream of dog ownership came true when we adopted Boston, a spirited Shiba Inu. Before finding his forever home, Boston had a tough start—he was living on the streets of Okinawa and suffered from skin issues. With lots of love and care, he recovered and became a beloved member of our family. Boston’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary, moving across the world with Alex just months after we met in Japan.
Prior to adopting Boston, we decided to welcome Oki into our family, a half Great Pyrenees, half Australian Shepherd, from Ana’s parents in Texas. Oki, our adventurous girl, soon made her way to Monterey, California, where the two dogs and we began exploring the stunning landscapes of our new home together.
